Welcome to www.lobfc.org the home of Latymer Old Boys Football Club on the internet.


The club, which was formed in 1897 currently runs 7 teams.

Every Saturday 5 of our sides compete in the Amateur Football Combination, while on Sundays we have a Veterans side and new for season 2007/08, a youth section.

The club enjoys close links with both the Latymer School in Edmonton and Botany Bay Cricket Club, where our senior sides play their home games.

Fixtures - Saturday 18th February 2012


All six teams in action this weekend with the 2nds, 4ths and Vets all at home. Some tough games this week with the first away to HAC, 2s at home to Edmontonians and 5s away to Mill Hill, all oppos are challenging for the league titles. The 3s are away to Grammarians and 4s home to Parms. Teamsheet below:

Social - Fundraising evening


Our fundraising social is to be held on the evening of Saturday 3rd March at the Railway Tavern by Liverpool Street Station. Entry will include food and entry to the sports quiz with the usual games, raffles and auctions taking place to raise funds for the club at a price soon to be confirmed but likely to be £15. Please make an effort to attend.

Training


Training is at Southgate Hockey Club from 8 till 9.

Goalkeepers


As well as players of all levels we are particularly looking for new goalkeepers. If you are a keeper and are looking for a club to join please fill in the new player form and we will be in contact with you.

Reunion Day 5 a side
16 teams, 100 players and even a number of supporters graced Latymer School for our annual 5 a side tournament. In what was a close tournament there were a record number of penalty shoot outs and evetually Pinket's team came out on top, beating Holloway's crew in the final. In the plate Wyatt Galatico's edged through after an epic penalty shoot out.

2010/11 Results
A great season on and off the field. Highlights were promotions for our 1st and 3rd XIs. Specific details will shortly follow.
